Celebration of Life
We are blessed to have many walk into our lives and make a difference. They spark our interests, ignite our passions, and help us thrive. In our
4-H journeys, we cross paths with many volunteers and paid staff who make the work we do as volunteers possible and help us make our best better. As we gather together on-site and virtually for the 4-H Volunteer Conference, many of us may think of those no longer with us who have made our journeys as volunteers possible.
This year, we would like to honor those who have passed and celebrate the differences they made to the 4-H Volunteer effort. Anyone can be included in the memorial; it does not have to be someone who attended a 4-H Volunteer Conference of Southern States. The only criteria is that the form linked below is completed and the nominee feels that the individual impacted 4-H volunteers and volunteer programming.
Submission are due September 15 via the link below. The forms asks for a little information about the honoree -- 4-H passions and interests, states supporting, alum (if applicable) state, and for up to two photos.
As this is the first year, we have offered the opportunity to celebrate, we will add those who have passed from any time period. We will have the celebration virtual memorial available at the conference and on the conference virtual site.
